At Brasshouse, we know that Crafting can bring lots of benefits. As well as giving you the opportunity to spend time with friends or family, joining a Craft Club lets you to meet new people and build a real sense of community through making together. Craft can be good for relaxation and some studies have shown that crafting can improve your well-being. Many children and adults have found that being creative has helped to improve their confidence through exploring different skills and materials and being able to express themselves in different ways.
Why not come along to knit, crochet, stitch, bead, card making etc. and enjoy a tea or coffee and a natter at our warm and welcoming group every Friday between 10.30am & 12.30pm We welcome supplies of wool, card making materials, threads and materials to support our group.
Maybe sewing is more for you, then come along and join in with the sewing where you can learn basic sewing skills, dress making and how to apply creative craft skills to sewing. Work on making your own garments or make alterations to existing garments.
This is a class for women only and we charge just £2.00 per session. This is a friendly, safe and supportive environment where all are made to feel welcome.
