Junior Sea Cadets aims to provide a new kind of adventure for young people based on the customs and traditions of the Royal Navy. We provide the opportunity for our juniors to learn loads of new skills and build confidence in a safe and friendly environment with plenty of challenges to allow them to really excel.
As a Junior Cadet, young people will have lots of new and exciting experiences whilst earning badges along the way. Whether it be finding yourself learning about survival skills, seamanship, navigation, first aid as well as trying your hand at sailing, paddlesports, climbing, codebreaking and much more!Sea Cadets is for everyone, there is no need to have any prior experience of being on the water to come and join in and you’ll get all the support you need to show what you’re made of, whether or not you shine at school. We have a dedicated team of trained volunteers who commit themselves to giving our young people the best possible head start in life.
